HIGH SCHOOL TEAMMATES

FEBRUARY 1

Congratulations to all the high school swimmers in the senior prep group. All of you had a tremendous weekend of swimming at your teams conference championships. Hope all of you are happy with your results, I am so proud of each of you and your accomplishments. If my homework is correct (and I am sure you will correct me if I am wrong) Gillian Goodiel swam a best time in 100 breast for South Lakes, Emma Lowell swam a best time in 100 back for Woodson. Catie Krouse swam best times in 100 free and 100 back, and made it back to finals in backstroke for Oakton. Helen Geddes posted best times in 100 fly and 100 back, made it to finals in both and will be swimming the fly at regions next weekend for Lake Braddock. Andrew Hale swimming for West Springfield had a personal best in 100 back. Peter Jones posted best times in 100 free and 100 breast for Woodson. Swimming for Lake Braddock both Audrey Hunter and Katie Karlinchak made it back to finals posting best times and will now move on to regions. Katie swimming 100 back and 200 free. Audrey swimming 200 free and 500 free.

Job well done by all of you

As we start this week with our final push I want you to Make a daily commitment to focus and improve on one specific aspect of your swimming (turn, breathing, stroke, breakouts, kick), your diet, and your school work (don't put off work, turn in assignments, projects do a little each day). Do this and it will lessen your stress, keep you healthy, and will give purpose to each day and a lot of small changes eventually add up to big ones.
